A series of kinetic typography artworks with the theme of transition have been created exploring different aspects of change and transformation. From the balance and duality of the Yin Yang, to the explosive power of the Big Bang, to the progressive nature of Come and Go, to the ups and downs of Up/Down We Go, and the all-encompassing nature of Here, There, Everywhere, these pieces showcase how transition is an essential process of change that affects everything and everyone. The theme of this year's Videocittà festival, Transition, aligns with the message of these artworks, emphasising the importance of embracing change, working towards a sustainable balanced future, and accelerating the digital transformation for the benefit of society as a whole.
COME AND GO
This artwork focuses on the continuous and progressive nature of transition, emphasising how things are constantly changing, evolving, and transitioning from one state to another.
YIN YANG
This artwork explores the concept of duality and balance in transition, depicting the contrast between light and dark, positive and negative, and how they coexist and complement each other.
BIG BANG
Inspired by the theory of the universe's creation, this artwork portrays the explosive power of transition and how it can bring about new beginnings and endless possibilities.
HERE, THERE, EVERYWHERE
This artwork reflects on the all-encompassing nature of transition, showing how it affects everything and everyone, from the micro to the macro level. It emphasises the importance of embracing change and working together towards a sustainable future.
UP/DOWN WE GO
This artwork showcases the ups and downs of the transitional process, highlighting how change can be both challenging and rewarding. It is inspired by and references our DNA, which undergoes a constant process of change and adaptation. The artwork reflects on the transformative nature of DNA and how it represents the essence of life's transitional journey, with its unpredictable twists and turns.
