The moment in time

While the notion of black holes is present in popular culture and it is a widely known phenomenon, all of us can only speculate about the experience of entering, travelling through and emerging on the other side of a black hole. The thought of it alone can be unfeasible and inspiringly inconceivable. What will happen to me? What does it feel like? What is on the other side?
A layered paper sculpture of concentrically decreasing circular shapes was constructed, as a physical metaphor of a black hole. Projecting visuals and shining lights onto it, it captures the palpable moments of travelling through a black hole, freezing the moment in time.
